Wow - hello and welcome!
My name is Ev Garde.
I’ve started recently on Beehive, so I’m really glad you’re here.
I’ve started to write AI Bear some time ago to digest everything happening around me, and somehow ended up with hundreds of people reading it.
Now I put quite an effort in every article, trying to cut through the noise - as ‘AI’ topic got a bit overhyped lately. So would appreciate if you subscribe, read - and recommend your friends or colleagues :)
I tend to share news on applied AI, mixed with my own thoughts and insightful findings. Given it’s purely non-commercial hobby project, I might go off-script completely.
Few words about me.
Above - that’s me on stage on one event in London. Seems like sometimes people can tolerate not only reading but even listening my talks. Shall I start a podcast?..
Anyway, London is not the place I’m in too often. Today I prefer to live in a small town near Manchester, UK.
For 10+ years I work in SaaS, currently being in charge of marketing for portfolio of software and services in Hilti GB.
Also I consider myself an AI practitioner, as I have a personal operational system, set up around vault, obsidian, claude, tens of skills, various harnesses, remote server, some chat-bots, etc. - all this helps me to operate on a daily basis.
Off grid you can find me either cycling or swimming or running - as I recently got pulled into triathlon - and even completed some races.
